I began my internship with Sports and Entertainment Today Magazine in February of 2024, working amongst Danisha Rolle, the magazines editor in chief. I instantly fell in love with its culture. The magazine prioritizes not only the lives of athletes beyond the court but also the women who support them.
Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women of the NFL Conference in Chicago, Illinois where I was surrounded by powerful, business-minded women. The weekend was filled with networking, bonding, and, most of all, taking in the beauty of the Windy City.
I currently serve as both a writer and an advertisement sponsor for the magazine.
Miami kids magazine
As a Miami native, I was both blessed and excited to embark on my first internship with a company as welcoming as Miami Kids Magazine.
I began my internship in August of 2022, where I had the invaluable opportunity to shadow the magazine's editor in chief, Karla Richey.
During this time, I gained insight into the crucial elements that contribute to the success of a magazine, as well as the various aspects involved in planning and executing community events.
